Following breakfast, set out on a comprehensive tour of Cairo, which includes the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum to view the treasures of Tutankhamun. In the afternoon, visit the Jewish synagogue, the Hanging Church, and the San Sergius Church, which is believed to be the location where the Holy Family found refuge. Overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 3: Cairo – Mt. Sinai

Check out from the hotel and travel south along the Exodus route, making stops at Marah, the Wilderness of Sin, and the Oasis of Feiran. Visit the site of Israel’s confrontation with the Amalekites and arrive at Mt. Sinai by late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at Mt. Sinai.

St. Catherine – Nuweiba – Petra Day 4

Day 4: St. Catherine – Nuweiba – Petra

Optionally, ascend Mt. Moses for a breathtaking sunrise view, then tour St. Catherine’s Monastery. Proceed to Taba, passing through Nuweiba, where it is believed the Israelites crossed the Red Sea. Take a ferry across the Red Sea to Jordan and transfer to Petra. Dinner and overnight stay in Petra.

Petra Day 5

Day 5: Petra

Discover Petra, beginning with the Siq that leads to the Treasury, followed by visits to the Roman city, the Theater, burial caves, and the Byzantine Basilica. In the afternoon, hike to the Monastery, a legendary monument of Petra. Dinner and overnight stay in Petra.

Visit Medaba and its 6th-century mosaic map of Jerusalem, then climb Mt. Nebo, where Moses beheld the Promised Land. Arrive at the Dead Sea for a swim in its distinctive waters. Dinner and overnight stay at the Dead Sea.

Cross the Allenby border into Israel and explore Nazareth, where you can visit the Church of the Annunciation and the archaeological museum. Proceed to the Sea of Galilee and check into your hotel. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at the Sea of Galilee.
